It is the moment we have been working towards with great perseverance and dedication over the past few months: The time has come – welcome to La Bastide! Yes, we are the new owners of Luxury Gites la Bastide in Puycalvel, and we can hardly believe our luck!
This place enchanted us from the very first minute when we visited it on a rainy Saturday morning in the middle of winter. Our long search came to an end – because by immersing ourselves in this location, our vision found a place to become reality in an instant.
A PLACE OF DEEP RELAXATION AND RECOVERY
When signing and with the transfer of ownership, it was clear that we wanted to preserve Steve’s legacy well and continue it with the same values. Our endeavor is to care for a place where our guests can find the deepest relaxation and recovery. We immerse ourselves in this life, accompanied by our horses and dogs. For us, it is an arrival, a dive into a world that conveys an incredibly cozy feeling of security and relaxation, sharpens our senses because we are not exposed to any distractions. It is a place that shows us a starry sky at night, making us almost forget that we cannot simply reach up and grab one of those sparkling stars. This place lets us breathe, wake up, and feel again what is important to us.

Our houses are furnished with great attention to detail and offer everything your heart desires. From the fully equipped kitchen to cozy living areas to spacious bathrooms – good Wi-Fi for those who do not want to miss the link to the outside world – you will not lack anything here. So a fine dinner on your own terrace, a delicious glass of wine from a local vineyard while enjoying the sunset is a perfect end to a day where you simply feel good and can feel connected again.

LA BASTIDE - HAMEAU AU VERT
For those who simply want to relax, we offer numerous cozy corners and retreats on our property. Cozy up with a book under an old oak tree, relax by the pool and let your soul dangle, or just lie in the deck chair, let your gaze wander, and listen to the gentle rustling of the leaves? Perhaps there was just a soft neighing? A little walk along the horse pastures also offers space to discover new things and actively awaken the senses. Being in the midst of this nature not only fills up your vitamin-green depot but is also true balm for the soul.

Yes, and so we start on October 8, 2024, and are simply overjoyed to be the new owners of the Luxury Gites la Bastide. The first bookings have already come in, and we can hardly wait to welcome our guests! And who knows, maybe one of our guests will manage to grab one of those sparkling stars – the magic of this place could make it possible – it’s worth a try!
