We are delighted to welcome you to La Bastide – a place where peace, nature, and comfort come together to create a unique experience. To make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible, we’ve gathered all the essential information for you here. We wish you a wonderful time at La Bastide!
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
- Check-in time: Between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Please let us know in advance if you plan to arrive later.
- Keys will be handed over in person or via a key box, which we will explain before your arrival.
Travel tip: When using Google Maps, first set Puycalvel as your destination. From there, the navigation will reliably guide you to La Bastide. Otherwise, Google Maps may suggest unpaved roads.
DURING YOUR STAY AND HOUSE RULES
- Quiet hours: Please respect the peace and privacy of other guests and our animals, especially during the evening hours.
- Wi-Fi: La Bastide has multiple Wi-Fi networks. Depending on your location, you may need to switch networks. The password for all networks is: LaBastide.
- Pool: The pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For safety reasons, glasses and glass bottles are not allowed near the pool.
- Trust Shop: Our Trust Shop offers beverages, regional specialties, and a small library for self-service.
- Waste disposal: Sorting waste is mandatory:
- Yellow bin: Plastic packaging, cans, paper, cardboard.
- Green bin: General waste.
- Black bin: Glass.
The recycling station is located in the garage opposite the laundry room.
- Laundry room: The laundry room is at the back of the Grange and is accessible at any time. Please do not use the machines after 10:00 PM. Each wash or drying cycle costs €5.
ANIMALS AT LA BASTIDE
- Many animals live at La Bastide. Please follow these rules:
- Do not feed our animals, as this could cause serious health issues.
- Do not enter the horse fields without supervision. Contact us if you’d like to visit the animals – we’ll gladly accompany you.
- Fireworks and firecrackers are strictly prohibited out of respect for the animals.
- Pets: Your pets are welcome to stay with us free of charge, but dogs must be kept on a leash.
LEISURE AND ACTIVITIES
- Discover the surrounding area: hiking trails, excursions, markets and restaurants can be found at https://labastide.info/aktivitaeten/.
- For your first evening, you can book dinner directly on our website. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
USE OF THE SEPTIQUE TANK (FOSSE SEPTIQUE)

Our property is equipped with a septic tank, which is particularly sensitive to solid waste. Please do not dispose of hygiene products, wet wipes, food scraps, oils, or other items in the toilets or drains. Use the provided waste bins for disposal. Only use the cleaning products provided by us, as other products could damage the septic tank’s essential bacteria. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

- Fire extinguishers: are located in every accommodation.
- First aid kit: Is available in every accommodation.
- Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors: Installed in all accommodations and connected to Wi-Fi. If triggered, an alarm will sound, and we will be automatically notified.

DEPARTURE AND CHECK-OUT
- Check-out time: Until 10:00 am.

- Checklist for departure:
- Empty the fridge and dispose of perishable food.
- Run the dishwasher (if available) and empty it.
- Empty the grill and clean the grate.
- Fetching the last of the laundry from the laundry.
- Beds do not have to be stripped.
- Search the bedroom and bathroom for forgotten items.
- Lock the doors and hand over the keys.
- Dispose of waste in the appropriate garbage cans.
- If no final cleaning has been booked:
- Clean and sweep living spaces (vacuum and mop).
- Leave the kitchen and appliances (e.g. stove, microwave) ready for use.
- Clean the bathroom (shower, washbasin, WC).
- Empty the chimney and clean the window (if used).
- Close the windows, but leave the outer shutters open.
