Lautrec is famous for its pink garlic, a local specialty that is appreciated far beyond the borders of France. Every year in August, the village celebrates the garlic festival (Fête de l’Ail Rose de Lautrec), where visitors have the opportunity to taste different varieties of garlic, take part in cooking demonstrations and experience the rich local culture.
